TV on the Internet
TV critic Todd VanDerWerff and TV watcher Libby Hill take on the week in television, classic TV and some of the biggest debates in TV past and present.

Todd and Libby have got Emmy Fever (TM), which means it's time for them to start thinking about some good old-fashioned Emmy Justice (TM). They've brought David Sims onto the program to shamelessly crib from Alan Sepinwall and go over the drama ballots to see what shows they would nominate if they were allowed to vote. Along the way, David will mount a stunning defense of Natalie Dormer, Libby will find herself nominating Bellamy Young to her surprise, and Todd will talk about Person Of Interest to David's surprise.

Todd and Libby are joined by the one and only Film Crit Hulk, the world's most mysterious superhero/film critic/menace to society. Fortunately, Hulk is all Bannered down, so it's not just shouting. However, the three of them discuss the career and life of James Gandolfini for a while before talking about this season of Mad Men in advance of Sunday's finale. Along the way, Hulk will point out Mad Men's secret hero, Todd will explain why he thinks Pete was merciful toward Bob Benson, and Libby will bemoan how little Joan we ever get. (Note: There are some brief sound issues in the first 15 minutes, but they very quickly even out. Also, Libby is recording in a bank vault.)

Todd and Libby are driving across the United States again. In fact, this podcast was recorded while the two headed into Tucson, Arizona, on their way back from the Austin TV Festival. They'll talk about what they liked and didn't like about the festival, then move on to a solid hour or so of talk about NBC's unexpectedly mesmerizing and wonderful Hannibal. They'll argue about Abigail Hobbs, talk about the movie The Dream Team, and sing. Don't miss it!

Todd and Libby are once again joined by David Sims, who has to skedaddle early because of love or something, so they cram talk of TWO shows into their allotted time, already breaking their new rules. First up: The first season of Orphan Black, which emerged from the recesses of Saturdays, BBC America, and Canada to become one of their favorite new shows. Then: They discuss the horrors and terrors (and awesomeness) of the third season of Game Of Thrones. Also: David composes a love note to Roose Bolton.
